Job Description and responsibilities:

The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for managing the IT Systems at Etransmedia which support applications hosted for use within the company and by customers. Responsibilities include:

  •     Build servers (installing OS, MS SQL, IIS, Active Directory, etc.)
  •     Manage servers (backups, upgrades/updates)
  •     Manage VM environments
  •     Installation and management of custom applications
  •     Network management (basic networking)
  •     Trouble-shooting problems with installations and other areas of IT management
  •     Oncall support (on rotation basis)

Minimum qualifications:

Candidates must have the following.

  •     BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, IS or Engineering
  •     2+ years of experience managing server environments
  •     Excellent knowledge of MS Active Directory, IIS, etc.
  •     Experience hosting and managing VM environments

Preferred qualifications:
Candidates with the following additional qualifications will be given preference.

  •     Experience in the health-care IT field
  •     Knowledge of MS SQL
  •     Knowledge of router/firewall configuration and management

Role description and responsibilities:

The Business/ Quality Analyst is responsible for gathering the requirement and testing them the Software Products at Etransmedia . Responsibilities include:

  •  Develop and maintain requirement gathering documentation and procedures based on product specifications
  • Write and maintain testing script and programs to touch every aspect of the software product
  •  Ability to analyze project documents in order to prepare effective test plans and test cases for Health Care IT applications.
  • Comfortable publishing project sites, plans, and documentation using tools such as JIRA, Excel, Word, wikis, and MS Project.
  • Effective communication and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs.
  • Initiative: Tackles problems and takes independent action, seeks out new responsibilities, acts on opportunities, generates new ideas, practices self-development.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, IS or Engineering
  • 2-4 years working experience as BA/QA
  • Good technical writing skills and Understanding of n tier architecture
  • Excellent understanding of Software development procedures and methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

List of Essential Job Functions:

  • Completes patient registration by entering patient demographic information
  • Verifies eligibility and benefits for insurance coverage
  • Enters charges to create clean claims and submits claims to primary & secondary insurance companies either electronically or by paper (with copy of primary EOB for Secondary claims)
  • Works account aging and correspondence
  • Answers questions from patients, co-workers and insurance companies
  • Identifies and resolves patient billing complaints
  • Prepares, reviews and sends patient statements
  • Works with patients to establish payment plans. Reports status of delinquent accounts
  • Prepares information for the collection agency
  • Performs various collection actions including contacting patients by phone, correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers
  • Ability to evaluate an EOB and determine short pays
  • Responsible for posting all payments and adjustments from individual checks, cash, credit cards, bulk remittances, paper or electronic media to appropriate account
  • Understanding of coordination of benefits and payer responsibility
  • Train new team members assigned to like-accounts. May require travel, if necessary, to another office location for the training.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of medical billing process, basic coding and collection practices
  • Knowledge and appropriate use of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of CPT & ICD9/10 codes
  • Medical office experience or comparative educational experience in medical billing program with or without certification
  • Knowledge of medical billing software(s) with a preference to Allscripts, Centricity, Kareo and Advanced MD
  • Knowledge of business office procedures
  • Must be well organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment
  • Ability to operate a multi-line telephone
  • Skilled in telephone etiquette
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers
