Advisors
Our board of advisors has over 40 years of combined prior
experience in diverse areas such as branding and market strategy, finance
and administration, and corporate development strategies. Their
backgrounds range from significant roles in large international companies
to spearheading local community based initiatives. This ensures
that at etransmedia we stay focused on current business opportunities
without overlooking the needs of local business men and women.
Our board of advisors exemplifies unique experiences,
backgrounds and abilities, thus helping etransmedia maintain itself as
the most trusted name in complex healthcare solutions.
Susan M.
Mathews, R.N., Ph.D.
Susan
M. Mathews is the founder and former President/COO of Corporate Health
Dimensions, the nation's leader in directly contracted primary care,
occupational healthcare, and pharmacy services for the country's largest
self-insured companies (USS, Goodyear, GE, etc.). Ms. Mathews also
acts as an advisor to early stage businesses and boutique investment
banking firms, and has served as interim CEO for 3 healthcare
companies. Ms. Mathews is a member of the Board of Directors for
the Community Foundation of the Capital Region, GHI-HMO, Healthtrax, Inc.
and the Women Business Leaders in the U.S. Healthcare Industry
Foundation. In addition, Ms. Mathews is a member of the Advisory
Boards of the Roman Catholic Diocese Finance Council Advisory Board;
Babson College Graduate School of Entrepreneurship; Excelsior College
President's Council; Graduate College of Union University Advisory
Council; and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Ms.
Mathews received her Ph.D. in Health Services Administration from
Columbia
Pacific
University. Her M.S.
in Public Service Administration from Russell
Sage
College, and her B.S. in
Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph's College. In addition,
Ms. Mathews has over 20 years experience as a registered nurse.
Danny J. Wheeler,
CPA- Managing Director
Danny J. Wheeler is Managing Director of CFO for Hire, LLC.
His primary responsibilities are recruitment of top talent and
formulation of strategies, and continuous improvement of the "CFO
for Hire" operating processes. He also oversees finance and
administration and the sales and marketing process. Prior to CFO for
Hire, Mr. Wheeler was Chief Financial Officer at Health Solutions, and
helped grow the company from $29 million to $270 million in annual
revenues. Prior to joining Health Solutions, Mr. Wheeler was with
Kenneth Leventhal & Company, the eighth largest CPA firm in the
nation before it became part of Ernst & Young. Mr. Wheeler is a
Certified Public Accountant and a member of the New York State Society of
CPAs and member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO). He
received his B.S. in Finance from Cornell University in 1990.
Jason Busch
Jason
Busch is Managing Director of Azul Partners, where he has gained
extensive experience as a strategic advisor to leading vendors and
end-user organizations. Prior to launching Azul Partners, Mr. Busch led the
Branding and Market Strategy Department for FreeMarkets. During his
tenure at FreeMarkets, he initiated strategic marketing campaigns,
analyst relations and competitive intelligence, while also leading
FreeMarkets efforts to become an eminent thought leader in the supply
management arena. In addition, Mr. Busch has also served as a
consultant with Northeast Consulting (acquired by Nervewire). Mr.
Busch has authored over sixty columns and whitepapers on technology and
economics and has been quoted in numerous articles, books, and academic
papers. Mr. Busch holds an M.A. in history from the
University of
Pennsylvania. He also
completed his undergraduate studies at the
University of
Pennsylvania, receiving a
B.A., cum laude, with departmental honors, in history and English
literature. In addition, Mr. Busch has completed coursework in the
Wharton
School.
James J.
O’Keefe
James O’Keefe is a
global business leader, and demonstrated team builder, capable of
maximizing shareholder wealth by taking business opportunities from
concept to profitability in companies ranging from startups to $5B. He has established a record of unlocking
shareholder value by converting privately-held business franchises to the
higher multiples and liquidity afforded by public company ownership. Currently, Mr. O’Keefe works as a
strategic advisor and mentor to high-growth technology companies in New York. Formerly the President and Co-CEO of Taconic, a privately-held
$70+ million engineered Materials Company, Mr. O’Keefe managed 400
employees competing on five continents in microwave, architectural /
construction and industrial fabric markets. Prior to joining Taconic, Mr.
O’Keefe served as President/CEO of Interactive Learning
International Corporation (ILINC/LearnLinc). During his tenure at ILINC/LearnLinc
the company revenues grew over 10 times by opening two additional sales
channels. Mr. O’Keefe is
credited with negotiating partnership agreements with Intel, Microsoft,
MCI and others. In addition, Mr.
O’Keefe served as Vice President of Federal Sales for Softdesk, a
$25 million Computer Aided Design software development firm ultimately
acquired by Autodesk. He has also
served as a Principal with Upstate Equities where he directed investment
banking and technology portfolios for the venture funding firm. Mr. O’Keefe received his Masters
in Business Administration from the Wharton Business School of The
University of Pennsylvania, and his B.A. from St. Michael’s College
of the University of Toronto.
Joseph
Massaquoi
Joseph Massaquoi is a
senior associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Wachovia
Capital Markets, LLC (Wachovia Securities). In his current leadership role with
Wachovia, Mr. Massaquoi manages the complete sellside process and creates
and manages management and board presentations. Mr. Massaquoi’s current
transactions include a restructuring of multiple classes of accreting
securities and an IPO of a $1 billion steel distributor, currently owned
by private investors and employees. Before joining Wachovia, Mr. Massaquoi worked as a Strategy
Consultant for Bain and Company, Inc. While at Bain, Mr. Massaquoi executed engagements and marketing
initiatives for companies in the financial services, manufacturing, transportation,
and telecom industries. Prior to
Bain and Company, Inc., Mr. Massaquoi was a Corporate Analyst with, Lehman
Brothers, Inc. in the Global Natural Resources, Utilities and Project
Finance Group. In this role, he
gained valuable transaction experience through active participation in
over $2 billion lead and joint lead mandates. Mr. Massaquoi holds a Series 7/63
License and he received his B.S. in Physics and from Morehouse College, and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
