etransmedia contracts to manage Revenue Cycle for multi-state Diagnostic Imaging firm and affiliated Physical Therapy Groups

December 2, 2005, Troy NY - etransmedia is extremely excited to announce a contract with a New York based, mobile diagnostic imaging provider.  Additionally, etransmedia has already begun Revenue Cycle Management for an affiliated Physical Therapy Group, based in New York. 

As a business operating across more than one state, the imaging organization had a number of difficulties in managing claims and documentation to effectively reduce outstanding Accounts Receivable.  Additionally, the billing office was unable to consistently retain talented and diligent billers.  Determined to increase realization rates and eliminate their human resource problem, the management team called etransmedia. 

etransmedia assessed the problems facing the practice and assisted the practice in implementing a simple and effective document management solution to easily sort the superbills and related notes.  Next, the newly organized documentation plan was coupled with etransmedia's Revenue Cycle Management process to ensure all claims were followed through to payment.   etransmedia worked in parallel to develop similar programs for the Physical Therapy groups run by affiliates.  They have in turn seen revenues increase greatly beyond what their in-house method had provided. 

In addition to Revenue Cycle Management, the Diagnostic Imaging firm has begun using etransmedia's proprietary ASP-reporting system.  "Their cash flow cycle has been tightened up dramatically.  They're now operating at a much higher level than they were previously capable of, and the increased efficiency of their billing staff has given them strategic levers.  ," said etransmedia's Dir. Of Revenue Cycle Management.  "We've combined that with the strategic level of information they're receiving through our ASP, which will allow them to really understand their own organization much better."
