etransmedia announces contract with prestigious Orthopedic
Practice

signing of a multi-year long term service contract with a
premiere Orthopedic practice in Philadelphia. This
venture, with a highly regarded specialist group, is
representative of etransmedia's leadership among Health

particularly significant because it follows the signing of
a multi-year contract with a major West coast legal
organization - evidence of etransmedia's ability to
successfully implement and manage record management

The extremely busy multi-office
orthopedic practice required a smooth and
efficient means of transferring and updating their medical
record information directly into their EMR system. Their
previous service providers were unable to help them with
this need; they had neither the technical expertise nor
the experience of working with diverse EMR systems. The
etransmedia IT team first assessed the needs of the
practice, then uploaded legacy data to a HIM system chosen
by the practice, customized the system for continuous
updating, and integrated it with etransmedia's FileManager
work flow system. etransmedia's Health Information
Management specialists then designed a seamless method to
handle the legacy data, and to securely and automatically
update files generated by both the practice and service
providers. Integrating with service providers was
particularly easy because the practice switched to
etransmedia for records management services - thus
reducing both their turnaround time and costs.
