FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
etransmedia contracts with
prestigious NJ Ophthalmic Surgery group
September 19,
2005,
Troy NY
-
etransmedia is excited to announce our choice as the Revenue Cycle
Management provider for an esteemed Ophthalmic Surgery center
based in Central NJ.
The head surgeon of the group was spending too
much time working on the non-core, but essential, tasks of
managing the practice back office. Further, the expertise of the
surgeons was of little use in effectively managing accounts
receivable. With their A/R steadily increasing, the group made
the decision to consult experts in Revenue Cycle Management.
etransmedia's analysis team's assessment
showed that the problem was largely the result of the in-house
billing staff's inability to work the entire A/R load. This was
in large part because the billing staff had no method for
prioritizing Accounts Receivable to be worked. Drawing on simple
but effective workflow management tools, etransmedia has laid out
an aggressive but rational plan for working through the entire
A/R. After prioritizing the top 15 payers, etransmedia's A/R
specialists have identified 80% of the funds - all of which are
collectible with no timely filing issues.
"Our strategy is simple, but has proven itself
again and again," commented etransmedia's Dir. Of Revenue Cycle
Management, "by isolating those payers that cannot be worked as
typical A/R and following up with them at a project level, we
match our resources more efficiently than this group ever could
have. It is already paying dividends for them." With its
proprietary ASP system, etransmedia can provide a greater level of
transparency than the Surgery group's in-house billing team ever
could.
