etransmedia announces contract with prominent rehabilitation hospital

April 22, 2005, Troy, NY - etransmedia is pleased to announce the signing of a unique service contract with a premiere rehabilitation hospital in York, PA. This exceedingly busy hospital found that their dictation requirements were too much for their single in-house transcriptionist team to handle. At the time in which etransmedia began working with the hospital there were over 10000 minutes of backlogged dictations. The hospital was dependant on an older "Legacy" in house dictation system. They needed an overflow solution for their in-house transcriptionist team, and etransmedia was prepared to remedy their problems. etransmedia was able to utilize considerable experience interfacing with proprietary and "Legacy" dictation systems to transfer audio directly from their in-house dictation system, thus making the transition nearly seamless for the providers. etransmedia's ability to manage widely variable workloads provided 24 hour turnaround regardless of overflow volume. The etransmedia team eliminated the hospitals backlog in 1 week.
