etransmedia proudly announces six new customers in the month of January 2008

January 31, 2008, Troy NY – etransmedia is proud to announce the sign up of six new practices for its ASP EMR and PM software products. Etransmedia successfully helped these practices located in the Northeast migrate their Practice Management and Electronic Health Records from their legacy, in-house systems to etransmedia's hosted servers.

In one instance, the practice located in mid-town Manhattan, NYC, a leading endocrinology practice. struggled with their legacy systems which were hosted on premises for almost two years. The cost and effort involved in the maintenance of these servers was proving to be increasingly unmanageable for the practice. By migrating their data and applications to etransmedia's hosted servers, the practice now has global access to their data. The practice has realized savings of over 30% annually without any Capex.

In another situation for a medical practice located in northern New Jersey, the practice specializing in spine surgery and rehabilitation had significant difficulties de-coupling their internal data and network requirements from former partners. Etransmedia helped the practice plan the segmentation of their network and migrated their existing data to hosted servers. The practice now has universally accessible, secure data on etransmedia's servers. This has resulted in a tremendous improvement in patient care provided by the practice.
