etransmedia signs multi-year contract with prominent Radiology and Medical Imaging group based in Albany

June 15, 2005, Troy NY - etransmedia is pleased to announce the signing of a multi-year contract for providing Medical Records Management services to a prominent Radiology and Medical Imaging group based in Albany, NY.

This healthcare services group has multiple locations around the Capital Region in NY state. It was becoming increasingly difficult for this group to manage their medical records in an integrated manner. The turnaround time being offered by their service-provider was extremely dilated. As a referral-based healthcare group, rapid turnaround time is key to their being a leader in the field. It was also clear to the management that their costs were not in alignment with the services that were being delivered.

etransmedia was able to setup processes that reduced the turnaround time of medical records by more than 60%. At the same time, the system-integration that etransmedia was able to deliver meant that the various sites could access medical records from a single source. "We estimate that over the course of the next year, we will help them save at least 40% over what they were spending until this time. And those are hard-dollar savings.", said etransmedia President Vikram Agrawal.
