Client is a medium-sized medical specialty group practice with severe backlog of medical records files. etransmedia met with this group, and the key stakeholders to understand the nature of the problem and to determine the causes of the problems. The analysis revealed that the doctors at this location were using handheld recorders. This helped the doctors dictate faster and with greater convenience. Yet, the medical records vendor was unable to return these files at the same rate as they were dictated. One of they key contributors to this delay was that the medical records vendor did not provide this group with an effective tool/mechanism of exchanging audio and medical records files.

Our client was one of the top 10 accounting and auditing firms in the US. This firm partners with leading legal groups all over the US. etransmedia interviewed the key participants in the project directive at the firm. A list of quantifiable and qualifiable objectives was prepared based on this list. etransmedia’s technology team surveyed the proprietary software to be used for the project and prepared a detailed instructions sheet for the indexing personnel. etransmedia’s operations team analyzed the documents to be indexed and worked with the client’s teams in designing a timeline for indexing the high volume of documents.
